| Dev Server Back Down Again. |

Sup everyone. As of the Beginning of the year, I terminated the dev server at Escaped Turkey. They increased the rates and gave me more slots, but I decided since hardly anyone plays anymore and I have been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2, that I would just put the money in with MonkK on a TF2 server.
We're still supporting the mod. If you find any problems, bugs or if you have requests we will look into it.
If your interested in Team Fortress 2, download Steam buy Orange Box and Join in the Fun as S**t Frag Fest with the rest of us. I even started a little clan the with MonkK called Clan Team:Work. Clan Team:Work Home Page.

Hello folks. Yeah I am still around. I Have been busy with life in general and have put Reactance Unlagged to the back burner. Well, MonkK tells me its time to turn up the heat a little. So, that's what I am doing.
Version 1.2 of Reactance Unlagged is going up on JuJu's Joint. MonkKs server is running it already. The documentation is limited and will be updated.
There a few ideas I am toying with for the mod and am still open to suggestions.
I'll post again after we update JuJus Joint with the latest version of the Reactance Unlagged.

Hello everyone!
It's been crazy busy lately with the MOD. MonkK, Evo and I have been coding and Dwell3r has been busy with graphics also.
There are a lot of changes commin in the next version of ReactanceUnlagged. The next dev build will be version 1.2 and will have lots of changes in the code itself for optimization purposes along with more features like a new first generation scoreboard/stats screen. Bind a key push a button and viola you have the current stats. This is just one of many changes to the MOD which will be revealed at a later date. There is already an version on both MonkK's servers and Dwell3r's serv er also. They are a little buggy and we have the industrial strength raid out and are killing those bugs dead.
I would like to take this moment to introduce everyone to the new member of the ReactanceUnlagged DEV team. Sev3n who comes from across the Atlantic (France to be exact) is now a full fledged member of the DEV team. He, I am told, is not only an Uber Player he also can make a mean website (look for the new ReactanceUnlagged website soon!). We all look forward to working with him.
There have been a lot of requests for additions of functionality to the MOD and we are looking at them all and will probably add most if not all of them, keeping with the spirit that this MOD is made by the payers for the players. So, it looks like ReactanceUnlagged will be going trough lots of changes in the comming months. Don't worry though the "Insta" style will always remain (it's what we all love). We will just add more goodies to it and make it better.
My hat is off to clan XCM and DBz two awesome Euro clans. They have taken our MOD and have started playing it on a regular basis. They have voiced their approval and have started making suggestions on making it better. Thanks guys, I for one appreciate the effort and look forward to working with you all in the future.
One more shout goes out to Pink and Mick3y for setting up servers so the Euro players can enjoy and assist in the development ion ReactanceUnlagged. Already we have recieved lots of suggestions. Keep them comming!
On a personal note I will be moving out of state to a new job in Ohio. The winters will be terrible but the financial and personal living quarters will be far improved over my currrent situation which has hindered me from being more active than I have with ^Xc^ Clan and ReactanceUnlagged. So I will be offline for a week or so and will return online sometime soon after Oct. 9th. See ya then.

| ReactanceIU1.1Beta is now released!!!! |

Well folks. In keeping with my commitment to support my mod unlike some authors we know. I proudly announce the release of ReactanceIU1.1Beta.
In this mod, which was written completely by the one the and the only MonkK (q3 coder extroardinaire, get a life ), we address primarily with making the code more efficient. Game play was smoothed out at least another 25% which is a 25% improvement over what we already gained over Insta. We have added a mod_randomizeTeams function to keep the teams fair between map changes (no more stacking teams).
See this post in our Forumz for more details on the rest of the improvements/changes.
As usual we thank all for supporting us in this quest for a mod made for and by the players. Keep the suggestions, bug reports and comments comming.
If you need any assistance with running a server or 1 on 1 assistance with anything else, feel free to contact either MonkK or myself. You can do so at our perspective webites. Click -> MonkK's Website to get to his website. The download section will soon have a copy of the mod for download. Although when you connect to a non-dev server that runs ReactanceIU you automatically get a full copy of the mod with lotsa neat stuff in the pk3 to assist you with running a server or configuring your client cfg.

Well, here it is. The long awaited and well anticipated launch of ReactanceIU.
Connect to q3 server: 207.210.236.218:27960
Make sure you have auto downloading on and you will download ReactanceIU1.0Beta. Along withe the q3 vm's we have also packed a shiney new Rail Gun and Gauntlet. We have also included a ctf server cfg (ReactanceServer.cfg) along with the download which will allow you to run a ReactanceIU1.0Beta server and a small Client game cfg (ReactanceClient.cfg) which will assist you in setting up the new client side cvars.
Feel free to use ReactanceIU1.0Beta on your own servers.
Very soon we will be posting the files on Monkk's server: Monkk's Place
Please post often on the forumz. Likes, Dislikes, Upgrade Requests and Bug Reports are welcome.

Sup Sup everyone.
Sorry it's been so long since the last post. I have been busy with the new job and personal stuff too.
First off the IP has been changed to the server. The new IP is: 207.210.236.218:27960
The MOD is going well. Development has slowed a little but we have BY NO MEANS abandoned it. One of the most important facets of the game (flag sacrifice) has been a real pain in the arse and Monkk has been diligantly working to fumigate them all out. I personally have not had any time to do any coding as I am studying to pass a few MCSE exams and that has been taking all my spare time. This will be the case for a short time so please bear with us. As usual, please play often on the server and report any bugs you run into. Screeshots and demos are VERY welcome too. If you run into a bug, reproduce it while taping a demo and submit it to us. Most if not all of you have my email address. Post on the forum often and keep us informed.
NOTE TO ^Xc^Clan members:
Please check in with me. I want to get together everyone for a test session on the server. We need to stress out the MOD and shake out the bugs before we can come up with the first beta release.
Props go to Monkk for being the recent primary force in the development of Reactance:IU. Keep in mind he is doing this of his own free will and I for one thank him very much for the effort he has put in to date. I also want to thank Evolution and spike for their beta testing prowess and locating most of our bugs.
I'll try to keep everyone updated. Right at the moment we are working towards a beta release. I can't say when that will happen. I'll post more information as it becomes available.

Reactance:IU-1a has been completed and is on two servers for testing. Please play these servers often and report all bugs to the the Reactance:IU-1a bug report forum. A couple have been found by me already.
Any questions and suggestions can be posted at the Reactance:IU-1a Mod Suggestions and Requests forum.
Rail jumping is smoother and there is a stealth spawn function. Come check it out.
New Client Side Features currently enabled are:
A Speed Readout with Max Speed attained-
mod_drawSpeedometer "0 0 635 200 .5" ([show(speed)] [show(maxspeed)] [x(position)] [y(position)] [alpha(translucency)] (numbers must be in quotes)).
mod_speedResetTime 0 (the amount of time that u can be standing still before the max speed is reset (in seconds), 0 is disabled-never reset).
Colored Crosshairs-
mod_crosshairColor 7 (sets the color of the crosshair to a static color; cg_crosshairHealth must be 0 for this to take effect; Colors: 0 - black, 1 -
red, 2 - green, 3 - yellow, 4 - blue, 5 - cyan, 6 - magenta, 7 - white)

Monkk and I would like to welcome a new Modder to the Reactance IU MOD team, Spike.
Spikes experience with the C language and knowledge of Quake 3 will be a very valuable asset to the team. Welcome Spike.
The Mod is going well, an Alpha test version will be on the ET server hopefully by the weekend for testing. Everyone be prepared to come to the server for a testing battle/session for purposes of locating and squishing bugs.
Clan members: I have Given ExceSSive the task of scheduling parctices and seeing to it that we all start showing. I expect that you will show him the same consideration and respect that is given to me. He is a good assset to the clan and has volunteered his time and energy to take on this task. Once again, We are ALL responsible for showing up for practices.
Any question or requests regarding the MOD should be directed to the appropriate forumz section.

I have been given the use of a TeamSpeak server for our clan to use. We can all thank Ryno and Evolution for the use of it. The address of it is:

When u get there I can get you registered and then you will be able to use the automated login feature of the TeamSpeak Block on the lower right of the home page. After you put the login and password in your account information.
